Dedicated to Stained Glass Art for six generation and over a century

Stéphane Belzère - Rodez Cathedral, France

"The Fall of the Angels", is a typical silver stained technique. The interlacing forms create a continuous mass all the way along the windo. These red silhouettes on a white ground, with their disjointed shapes, required yellow heightening that, in order to emphasise their overlapping, would speard in a continuous, homogenous manner. Rather than apply the silver stain with a brush in the traditional way, Stéohane Belzère had the idea of spraying it into the glass.
